Licensed Nursing Services

Private Duty Nursing

Private Duty Nursing is a skilled nursing service provided exclusively by licensed nurses — Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). It is a distinct service, separate from non-medical home care.

Ahava's Private Duty Nursing supports individuals with complex medical needs who require skilled nursing care in the home setting.

Important: Private Duty Nursing vs. Non-Medical Home Care

Private Duty Nursing involves skilled nursing tasks performed by a licensed RN or LPN. These services are distinct from — and not performed by — Ahava's non-medical caregivers. If you are unsure which service is appropriate, contact us and we will help you understand your options.
